![]() ![]() Be VERY sure to do this in a well ventilated area preferably using a filtered mask. The final layer of primer should dry for at least 1 hour before painting on it. Be sure to shake the can for 30 seconds or so before spraying. Next I applied 2 coats of plastic primer with 10 minuets in between each coat. You do NOT want this stuck in your paint! Be very sure to properly remove all of the dust left by the sanding. First of I sanded the plastic thoroughly. ![]() I then unscrewed the 3 screws holding the camo part to the rest of the top and now I had the camo part isolated! You can lift the small white connector to release the cord from the top part of the mouse. ![]() It doesn't destroy anything if you do but it is preferred to avoid it. There is a flat cord running from the circuit board to the thumb buttons that I was careful about not yanking on. Next I carefully lifted the top from the bottom with the flat screwdriver. To do this I unscrewed the 5 screws underneath the mouse feet and the logo sticker at the bottom of the mouse. This means that I had to take apart the mouse. New set of mouse feet (they cost 3 usd in the logitech store or something)įirst off I needed to isolate the grey camo painted area that I wanted to paint.
